Hostal Lamalonga Madrid

Lamalonga Hostel is placed in the center of Madrid, in GranVia Street, very close to the main comercial centers, museums, cinemas, theatres, bars and restaurants, as well as many other interesting points.The Hostel is managed by a family, offering the visitor a nice treatment. The building with high ceilings manintains the classic style of the beginning of the century constructions of Madrid. All rooms have full bathroom.

From the airport By underground, you have to change twice (three lines) go to Callao (several alternatives). This Station will leave you in the Gran Via, you should now walk down the Gran Via just 30/40 mts to the left. (Price: single ticket 1,15€, ticket of 10, less than 6€). By Taxi, aproximately 20 minutes (depends on the traffic) its arround 25-30€. Take the highway N-II to Madrid, this will bring you to Avenida de America, continue straight on to Paseo de la Castellana, turn left until you reach Cibeles. In Cibeles turn right, there are two streets, take the one to the right which brings you to Gran Via. (See underground) From Atocha Train Station By underground, one change to Callao. This Station will leave you in the Gran Via, you should now walk down the Gran Via just 30/40 mts to the left. (Price: single ticket 1,50€, ticket of 10, less than 13€). By Taxi drive up the Paseo de la Castellana, at Cibeles turn on the left, there are two streets, take the one to the right which brings you to Gran Via. (See underground) We strongly recommend to use the underground in Madrid, it is the fastest way to reach the centre of Madrid as the traffic in Madrid is very dense during most of the day and it is common to get in the middle of a traffic jam.
