Hostal Los Alpes Madrid

The 1 star Hostel is nice and inviting, with very affordable prices. It is in the very centre of Madrid, a stones throw from the Gran Via thoroughfare and from the most important shopping and leisure area. Our guesthouse was built in 1800 and fully refurbished in 2003. This Hostel accommodates 36 guests in 12 double rooms, 8 singles and 2 triple. All the rooms have TV, private bathroom or shower, heating, and someone air conditioner (this thing add 3 euros at the total price) free acces to internet for your portable PC (WI-FI), roff ventilator, safe deposit, and hairdryer (ask at recepcion). They are also recently renovated. The rooms are spacious, in order to make your stay more comfortable.

From the airport By underground, you have to change once (two lines) go to Tribunal. (Price: single ticket 1,5 euro, ticket of 10, less than 10 euro;). By Taxi, aproximately 20 minutes (depends on the traffic) its arround 25-30€. Take the highway N-II to Madrid, this will bring you to Avenida de America, continue straight on to Paseo de la Castellana, turn left until you reach Colon. In Colon turn right, continue to Bilbao, turn on the left in Bilbao to Fuencarral.(See underground) From Atocha Train Station By underground, direct line to Tribunal. Walk to Gran Via, Fuencarral is a perpendicular to the right.(Price: single ticket 1,15€, ticket of 10, less than 6€). By Taxi drive up Castellana, turn on the left to Colon, continue to Bilbao, turn on the left to Fuencarral. Continue until you pass Tribunal underground station, Santa Brigida, St is a perpendicular to Fuencarral on the left. We strongly recommend to use the underground in Madrid, it is the fastest way to reach the centre of Madrid as the traffic in Madrid is very dense during most of the day and it is common to get in the middle of a traffic jam.
